We are a diverse group of people from different backgrounds, joined together by a shared set of values. At Smith Veterinary Hospital, our values give us clarity, guiding every decision we make as an institution and as individuals, from the most far-reaching long-term strategy to the smallest daily task.

Patient Care
We are dedicated to and take pride in offering the latest advancements in veterinary medicine to provide the best care possible. We strive to be thorough in everything we do with all our patients: accurate, clean, pain free and precise.

We believe that every animal should be treated as if it were one of our own. This means lots of hugs and kisses for the pets that visit us, but it also means that we make every effort to educate owners about the best practices for caring for their pets. We are advocates for the health and well being of each pet giving a voice to those that cannot physically speak. We recognize that caring for pets is a great responsibility, and we strive to treat our clients with respect and compassion during the best and worst times of the process.

We understand that we can only achieve our mission and goals by working together. Through the collective and coordinated efforts of our staff, we apply our diverse talents, backgrounds, ideas and experiences to create solutions to benefit patients. We value team success over individual success. We are aware of and care about what is happening with our coworkers; we communicate effectively and pick up where someone left off. This practice extends to our working relationships, and each staff member makes it a priority to understand the demands of every part of the clinic, a practice that increases productivity and quality.
