Sean started working at Smith’s Vet Hospital 2013. He was born and raised in the Thornhill area and remembers Smith’s even as a young boy. He had always wanted to work in the local community and now he has the opportunity. He has a degree in Zoology from the University of Toronto and did his Veterinary degree in Sydney, Australia. He also received a singing spatula while flipping burgers at McDonalds.
After finishing his degree he worked in suburban Sydney for 3 years – where he worked in a small animal practice. While in Australia he and his wife, Beth, were blessed with two beautiful sons Tyler and Zachary. They were also lucky to wrangle up a couple of critters in ‘Tucker’ the Cairn Terrier and ‘Mango’ the tough Sydney street cat; both of whom speak with an Australian accent.
Sean’s spare time is spent with his family – wrestling with the kids, building Lego strongholds reading stories. He also enjoys swimming, riding bikes and skating. He also a big supporter of puppet shows.
“I really enjoy cultivating the family feeling that Smith’s brings to everyone who comes through the door. To work with such a friendly and caring team is heartwarming.”
