Dr. Tara Pawliwec grew up in Brantford, ON in a family surrounded by medicine. Her strong love for animals and interest in medicine guided her into the career of veterinary medicine. Dr. Pawliwec graduated from the University College Dublin in 2016 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoyed living in Dublin, Ireland for four years and learning both small and large animal medicine.
After graduating, Dr. Pawliwec moved back to Canada, where she worked in small animal medicine at a non-profit animal hospital in London, ON. Here, she gained valuable skills in surgery and medicine. She has a strong interest in surgery, neurology and dermatology. Dr. Pawliwec’s goal is to make neurological issues easier to understand and to prevent all animals from being itchy. She understands how frustrating allergies can be, and hopes to solve this issue for both pets and their owners.
On her time off, Dr. Pawliwec loves to travel, bake and spend quality time with family and friends. Growing up, Dr. Pawliwec always had cats, her best friend was her tabby, Cleo.
